From Villa Menaluna, Courmayeur makes for a perfect day trip or overnight escape. Just a scenic two-hour drive brings you into the heart of the Aosta Valley and to the foot of Monte Bianco (Mont Blanc for the French amongst us), where the dramatic Alps rise against crisp alpine air. Visiting in autumn is particularly enchanting: the slopes are starting to be painted in warm golds and deep reds, trails are peaceful, and Monte Bianco dominates the horizon in serene grandeur.
